Heckys said it a few times and he's spot on. Tonight our players signed from higher up the ladder were definitely our better players. The ones who have played non league or league 2 recently were all pretty poor. Including Angus. Im not writing these players off however I do think its a big ask. Angus and Pinnock made Vadaine Oliver look like Drogba tonight. He won a massive amount of headers and flick ons. Ugo impressed and looked much quicker than previous games I've seen him. Williams also looked classy and got stuck in. Hedges looked a class above in his short time on the field. He's definitely got to be in front of Potts.
Centre back pairing is a worry.Ipswich will score a hatful, if we play like that on Saturday. I thought Potts did OK, as did Williams & Moncur, the latter two just need time to work out their game. Ubgo had a good first half. Armstrong won't want to watch that howler again. He looked a bit shaky tonight, possibly due to the CB fiasco. We need to loan in an experienced CB by Saturday.
