    Reckon a few clubs will be in for him. And doubt we'll turn down big bids provided Hecky is confident in the replacements and the players the money could be used to buy.

    Really hope he signs another contract though, and if it all works out he could go next summer for even more money.

    I think if we could replace Yiadom with a RB, LW and a striker with the money, who Hecky thinks will be good, then yeah £3m for a lad we nicked on a free a year ago is decent business.

    I could be wrong. But I'll trust those that found Yiadom, Roberts, McDonald etc to be able to decide if players we can sign are as good or better than them.

    Like I've said before though my preference is he signs a new contract, and if we decide to sell and clubs want him next summer then it would be an easier pill to swallow. But if he refuses to sign a new contract and selling him will let Hecky bring in a few more players he wants them so be it. Will see what happens.

    That page on twitter is run by a Leeds fan so I very much doubt he knows ****, also I can't see any Barnsley fans talking about Stefan's tweet and generally there'd be at least someone that saw it, so I'd take it with a pinch of salt.

    But by the same token the same system also identified the likes of Tuton, K Jackson, Kpwekwa, Lee etc.

    The point being not all signings work out.

    Did you see the performances / results after hourihane bree and winnall left? That was with an on-paper better team than we have right now, and you're applauding us losing even more proven talent. Point being promise is all well and good but without the experience and quality to back it up all we're doing is developing players for clubs to steal for peanuts when we're inevitably relegated. This forums gone mad if I am seen as a crackpot for thinking you need players that have either played together or played at this level before in the championship to compete

    Not being funny mate but you seem to complete ignore the fact I keep saying I want him to stay!

    But if he goes I'm saying I hope we have players lined up. And I'll trust that we have suitable players to come in. I hope the fact we are doing our business pre season will help them bed in rather than eg Mowatt coming in January.

    Guess we'll have to wait and see. I'm looking forward to new season.

    Sounds like they've had a bid rejected according to interview with Hecky. He has called the bid a million miles away from his valuation and he his confident of keeping yiadom and him signing a new deal. All this from GIddings on twitter. Also no new signings imminent but he wants 2-3 forwards.
