I thought the move leading to our second goal was wonderful football and finished by a truly classy striker. Pinillos had as good a game as I've seen from him, at the back. For me, he was a close second to Woodrow for MOTM.
Sixty five points accrued so far and we're only in February! I think this group of lads are terrific.
I'm a very happy bunny tonight.

I’m with you, I thought it was a relatively comfortable day.

    Not all agree apparently.

Might have been different had they scored just before halftime when Davis made a great save. But once we got the second we should have got more. Wycombe definitely no pushovers. Especially Akinfenwa

As a footnote, I hope the injury suffered by Wycombe's Luke Bolton is not as serious at it seemed. Good luck with your recovery, lad. Never pleasant to see a player leave the pitch in such a manner.

There is no such thing as a routine Barnsley victory.

Likewise, it could've been even more comfortable had the Wycombe goalie not made the saves he did from Pinillos & Mowatt in the first half.

I thought both penalties were soft but our second goal was the highlight of the day. Otherwise it looked like an end of season mid-table borefest. I was hoping Brown would be taken off instead of Thiam but then he helped create a goal straight away with Hedges playing a role. Watching Akinfenwa was hilarious. He won just about every header without getting his feet off the ground. I wouldn't have thought any footballer could be bigger than Darren Moore but still. He could play American Football without any padding.

I thought it was as straight forward a win you could get with our team never getting out of 2nd gear. Well done lads

Very much do we didn’t look like losing this game and I thought for a stubborn side we unlocked them at Will when we went forward .
Pinollos was my MOTM but just shaded three or four others imo
Their goalkeeper made some fantastic saves and stopped it being a bigger score line .
As usual the last few minutes was nerve wracking and you’d think us Barnsley fans would be used to it by now but I don’t think I am .
Will this happy bunny be relinquishing the remote for the telly in his euphoria ?:D

I thought we had far more ingenuity and spend of thought and foot than them but didnt quite make it pay. They worked hard and keith us honest.
Bahre up top is a total waste and looks far, far better running from midfield.
All in all ok. Not great but three more vital points and i'm a happy bunny. ☺

Thought we was nervous on and off the pitch today . But a win is all what matters at this stage of the season .

We got into some great situations on the break 2nd half but we were a bit wasteful with the final pass but it still was a deserved win .

Thought it was a bit less routine than some of late, but hardly a nail biter.

Wycombe came with exactly the same intention as at theirs, which was to let us have the ball in our own half, press us in theirs and then attack very quickly, and it worked in terms of breaking up some of our play, but lightening was never going to strike twice.

At best they made a bit of a game of it, but that's ok because sometimes the lads need to be tested. Keeps them sharp.

Onto Tuesday and hopefully more of the same.

Couldn’t work out if it was a pass or a shot by Vic in injury time either way it was wasteful.

I thought exactly the same regards tactics . They were happy to sit in their half until. We made a mistake and catch us on the break .
I think with more quality this manager knows how to catch better teams out imo
