    or we will be left behind. The Chinese and Americans , to name but two, are becoming increasingly enthusiastic about soccer.....especially the English leagues. Its not the way I would like it to go, but I think its just a matter of time before almost all English league clubs will be taken over by overseas investors. Its a case of do we jump or await to be pushed. If we take the latter then we could end up with an investor/s with a smaller bank balance. We should take the leap of faith IMHO, I am sure Patrick will do his utmost to protect our future interests too.

    Whatever happens happens, PC was trying to get shut long before his unfortunate illness but didn't want to give it to anyone. Suppose he (as we do) have to accept that there isn't another Barnsley fan on his level with the financial means to support us at the level we feel we belong and, on the face of it, the group we are linked with seem quite genuine.

    sadly that's correct unfortunately. I do not think that there are any British who can come remotely close to those overseas.
