Will be something similar for Android users but I don't know the exact steps. Basically the 4G network is saturated with too many people trying to use it in a small area, especially at half time, while the old 3G network has almost no traffic, because everyone logically is on 4G. If you have an iPhone, when you get to the ground go to Settings > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Options > Voice & Data, then select 3G rather than 4G. 3G obviously isn't as fast at 4G most of the time, but at Oakwell it's the difference between basically no connection and quite a reasonable connection. Just remember to switch back at full time Tried and tested strategy for 2 years, it works.
I’ve not been to a home game for a few years now, but surely they’ve fitted the ground out with free WiFi to get around this? Oh wait, Barnsley...
Im on ee and pointless even getting phone out to try at half time most of the time. Didnt used to be as bad on 3g.
Im in the West Upper and have no problems on Vodafone 4G bit slow but even at HT I can get scores etc or read the BBS- but then most of the people around me struggle with the concept of a mobile phone so probably less competition up here
Next on the to do list to add to the matchday experience once the small telly we call a scoreboard gets working again.
I'm on 3 and sit low down in the Ponty. I've been with 3 for years, and I confirm that it's a super reliable high speed network which never ever dro
