Was listening to Down by the Jetty this afternoon. Criminally underrated band.
Saw them in Douglas Isle of Man 1979, fantastic band live. Could bloody drink though !

Dr Feelgood linked RnB to punk. Groundbreaking In their own way. Revitalised and set up the gig circuit that allowed punk to flourish. I can see why he hates pub rock. They were so much more.

I have the DVD (30 mins) of this recording and the (live) CD Stupidity (half of which was recorded in dee dah land at the City Hall, I still listen to this 40+ years on, then again I still listen to the early Stones and lots of the old bluesmen................sigh...........tempus fugit and all that.
Believe it or not they played HardRock Hell a couple of years ago went down ok
got a few of their albums.... they are totally fantastic, and as many have said completely underated.
Tha's started me off nar ... heres one or two of my fave's.
