Hasn't really had a look in this season so far. To say he's so versatile I thought he'd make a few sub appearances at least.
Yeah think Val said hes picked a knock up on international duty and was out for a few weeks or something
I picked up something during the international break too. Access to the clinics are limited, although I have to say urination is no longer a vacation. On Halme, yes, he's played well when i've seen him. 3 successive managers have not made him a regular, so I'm not sure where that leaves things.
The Finnish football people seem to rate him very high at least, so I only hope that he makes his big breakthrough in Barnsley! It'd be nice to see a Finnish player in the Reds shirt again after Janne Salli's unlucky spell at the club.
He did make 32 appearances last season which I don't think is a bad return. There was a time where Struber preferred him to Anderson. The lockdown probably came at a bad time for Aapo, and Mads got his act together.
Yes. Back 3 is settled now & he's not going to get a berth in midfield. He may get a chance if the Williams's are both injured still & we have a suspension / injury in the back 3.
Hh I like Aapo and think he is a very good, versatile player, he looked good at centre half, last season and midfield before that. He's young and will want to play regularly, unfortunately our current system has no room for him. I feel it will be inevitable that he moves on next year, which is sad as I really like him. I think he would stay if M Solbauer decided to move back home for family reasons. Also,we have to consider Priti Patel's immigration and work rules. We may see some more of our lesser used overseas players, going on loan to mainland Europe. Financially, I think Brexit is a worry for our club in the short term. Recruitment, did bring in some good undiscovered players ,4/5 years ago, from the UK, problem now is that the fees are going to go up. Let's enjoy Aapo and other good young players while we can.
The rules will be - pay £x amount for a work visa and anyone can come in. I'd imagine a professional footballer will easily meet this threshold.
