    I don’t think it was ever particularly close. Was the Whiteman of the January window, there’ll be another in the summer. Probably a name to go public with while they look at targets to sign under the radar.

    It’s never close until they actually sign, but according to reports we made an offer to Administrators for fee and to player for personal terms. The path to first team football is the ace card we hold, however, Newcastle for example, could send him straight back out on loan to whoever.

    We are in a really strong position for recruitment in the summer, I hope we make the most of it and strengthen the first team.
