How was he in the starting line up?

He was absolutely woeful!! Give pinnock a run of games until Lindsey is fit!

On a side note Angus was also rubbish. The defence is very worrying!!

I actually thought Jackson was the best of the two today.

Jackson was better than McDonald today. Pinnock seems about as good as Jackson. Basically we're knackered unless Lindsay proves to be decent.

Well I hope Lindsey is like Franz Beckenbauer... cos there's a hell of a lot of expectation on him..

Thought our left back was the weakest of all the weak links at the back. It was a bit of a race to the bottom from all of them though.

I was baffled we gave MotM to the right back or have I got my players mixed up. Thought our left back looked really good for 20 mins. Then he looked knackered and was rubbish for the rest of the game Defence as a unit was poor though Nearly as bad as the Ipswich one

The full backs showed promise, but our centre half pairing is a shambles.

    Jackson isn't good enough.
McDonald plays better with a leader at the side of him.

Spot on abart Pearson thought he looked alreight first 20 then he was beaten time and again without much help at all from Hedges who just runs back sometimes, not marking anyone or attempting to get a tackle in.

I thought Jackson had a decent game. Crucial tackle early on when Williams (I think?) made a poor back pass. Won some good headers too. Gus looked shaky like when he first came but we've seen him do a good job too. Hopefully he can do it without Robbo.

People need to give their heads a shake a stop blaming Jackson.

Hes 23 year old and younger than Macdonald. With little experience he's had hes not bad and certainly looked better than Angus today.

Whichever fit CB we choose to play at the minute I can almost guarantee each of them would look better with an experience player leading alongside them.

Football is clearly all about opinions - I thought Jackson played well today. McDonald has had a terrible start to the season, not surprising as he was poor in pre-season too. Pearson did his best, out of position, but couldn't handle to pace of the Champ. Once again we have ended up short of a left back and will need to sign one if Yiadom doesn't stay.
One of our final loan signings surely has to be an experienced CB.

It really is about opinions! I though our two centre halves were woeful. Fair play to Big Mick for seeing this and playing with 3 strikers. We were exposed badly in that second half time and time again.
