One left for his dream job, after setting up for all the success we enjoy today he's a ***** manager and we can't wait to see him fail One left for a realistic and imminent chance for the play offs and premier league football, after being the best goal scoring striker we've had in years. He's a f*cking snake and we laugh at him on the bench One left for a bottom half team and nothing but a bigger pay check, hes' a f*cking hero and we applaud his integrity in counting the 0's on his bank account Have I got that right
No houirhane is a hero. Its the way he did it. The way he followed the owner of villa on twitter before he left. The way he chose to leave for the money and a bigger club. Unlike winnall who just left to be a *******.
No one's praising Conors integrity, just highlighting the irony of him scoring against little Lee. Hence "only in football" Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
The funny thing is not one of the three departures is playing in the Premiership and probably won't be next season. Ambition.
No completely wrong. Johnson had a good 6 games before he left but he certainly didn't set up all the success we had today, I don't think even he'd be daft enough to claim that. Winnall made a move to a club that he knew would completely ruin his reputation with Reds fans. His choice. Any player who plays for Barnsley who decides to join Leeds or a Sheffield club knows this. Hourihane's joined one of the 10 biggest clubs in the country, they were only 9 points off the play offs when he signed for them & I'm sure he felt they could get there with him & the other new signings joining & the new manager. Obviously it hasn't started well but I'm pretty sure he's not signed a 4 month contract so the long term aim will be to get in the premiership. I highly doubt he expected his transfer to be widely accepted as a great move 5 weeks after it happened.
Aye but none of them have signed a 6 month contract either. Sent from space using satellites and things
Yes that's true but at least he showed his commitment to BFC in his last few games and said all the right things. A model professional for me. By all accounts, Winnall was being a disruptive influence and had been a moaning whinging git for some time. To be fair to Sam though, he never let it show on the pitch and always gave his best. The MASSIVE difference between the two is the clubs they went to.....
Whether that's true or not we'll have to wait and see. But you can't argue that they're not more likely to playing for Wednesday and Villa. Sent from space using satellites and things
I can see villa turning things round very quickly. Possibly improving to have a decent finish to this season then walking the championship next season. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
No, they'll be one of those sleeping giants that's left in the Championship graveyard. Bravo for not questioning Wednesday! I do think Hourihane was badly advised, l'm sure he could have got a Premiership club on the same money.
