I went to Roots Hall yesterday to watch Southend take MK Dons to the cleaners. Ugbo played 70 minutes for MK and I can report he’s still cack at that level. The overall quality was poor even Anton Ferdinand looked Like an accomplished centre half despite carrying an extra stone around these days.

Is this meant to cheer us up in the hope that we should be good in that league or depress us that it’s a terrible league haha?

I’m very much enjoying the prospect of MK being a division below Wimbledon next year. With Wimbledon soon to be back at Plough Lane too that should be enough to ensure we never see such chicanery again.

They looked like dead men walking - given up. Could do worse then look at the Southend Keeper btw, pulled off an absolute double save worldy at the end of the game - local lad from Rotherham.
