It's a fair point you make. But when a ground is only open every other week, unless that offering expanded to being open every night I think it's always only going to cater for the majority.

Snap the same. I'd rather we expanded to pork pies and other stuff. Rather than ya standard burger pie sausage roll and hot dog.

But I appreciate that we are only open a short time so expanding snap to having anything other than what they do offer will be pretty much the same as drinks.

Whatever sells the most and to the majority.

Don't know what else they can do without trial and error. And it's not like we will risk anything to try it mind

How do you educate the masses that there may be something they'd enjoy more if they were willing to give it a try?

Seen similar with food and travel. But as I say, the worlds your oyster, each person decides how big and complex they want their world to be.

Well I think its immaterial as the club signed an exclusive deal in the ground, so expect it bars any other supply. But you could easily set up a single stall, with a single keg/cask on it, even have a meet the brewer style approach if the producer was willing to go down and talk about it as its been turned out. Could be rated by a card, and then the preferred ones could be slowly introduced. If massive queues elsewhere may get a bit of footfall.

When I go to oakwell, I never eat or drink anything there, same at away grounds. If something different, I would. But I don't get often, and I'm very aware market forces will dictate. Just on the flipside, if all you give a captive audience is the same... how do they know they might want something else?

Absolutely, and places like. Brewdog are driving things forward, however, Oakwell is a football stadium and it's core business is not selling real ale

I just call it beer personally. Just so many varieties.

Its a sports venue, and should cater to meet the eating and drinking requirements of its captive audience. Whatever those needs are. I'm guessing fans haven't been surveyed on a match day, seasonally, what they would like to eat in the ground, or what they would like to drink in the ground.

Suppose thats what the fan engagement forums might be able to discuss and provide input and ideas.

See that GG seems to want to set them up by the sounds.

Maybe at that point we have someone willing to listen to ideas maybe.

Even if you have items that only have a niche market.

Perhaps we should. Sell kosher burgers as
