    [On Rhodes and Winnall]

"We'll try again shall we So, when do they start tearing the division a new one? That was the consensus of opinion when we signed them"

"Probably when we get an effective midfield"

"Need Hooper alongside Rhodes, Winnall just isn't a good enough footballer. "

I must admit to feeling an unhealthy level of schadenfreude reading their boards.

Their official Facebook status at full time yesterday has hundreds of comments to read that can't help but make you smile. One of my personal favourites was the person blaming the boss for Rhodes and Winnall being turned from goal scorers into 1 in 5 strikers.

Teams can't be built in January it's that simple both us and them are suffering from that.

It's because they have a scatter gun approach to transfers & just sign any decent players they can get their hands on with no regard for how they'll fit in a team together.

Anybody who's watched them will know Rhodes & Winnall can't play together effectively, they're pretty much the same type of striker but Rhodes is a bit more proven. Both quality goal scorers but lacking in all round play.

Who does the running? Who drags defenders out of position like Watkins would for Barnsley to create space for Winnall or Rhodes? They're probably running into the same area's.

Even Fletcher won't help as he's knocking on & had a fair few injuries. He won't be able to work as hard & will want to be the selfish striker as he gets older.

If they don't make the play offs with the money they've spent surely Carvahal has to be sacked?

Agreed^^ winnall has gone from a 1 in 2 striker with us to scoring 1 goal in 8 starts and 3 substitute appearances for Wednesday.
