So the fact that 6 RANDOM (which was sort of the point I was making ) sets of figures all disagree with your 2016 German news article is being ignored even though the source of one graphic was the House of Commons and EU Commission....fair enougho_O

You made a choice to look at this thread.

Then you made a choice to post a comment.

There are plenty of other posts about football to look at, you didn't have to come int this one.

    A. I don't think you understand self-sufficient.

    B. We don't think we should be playing second fiddle tot he EU, we believe we should be a contributing member of the whole orchestra and then we can crack on a deliver a great sound together.

We are more than capable of self-sufficiency. Unfortunately, not in food, fuel, raw materials or manufacturing, but at least we have enough call centres to check if you've claimed your PPI....

Every time someone suggests something so outrageous it cant possibly happen we find its government policy a few months later... you have me worried now

You're not suggesting that they spend all day trawling internet message boards for ideas for policy are you?

It would explain a lot though ;)

    Especially for Gordon Owen!

"It seems probable that some sort of transition agreement will be reached in October, and 5 months later we will be outside the club, though permitted some of its benefits as long as we play by its rules. As with many compromises it will be something which almost nobody wanted. The alternative will be that no deal is struck – a position which terrifies many but which a few actually do want."

A well-reasoned and considered view within an opinion [from a remainer] that says a second referendum is unrealistic at this point:

I'd be OK with all this Brexit stuff, if somebody could show me where the pot of gold is that Boris, Gove & Farage are desperate to get their hands on.

If I was a cynical ******* I'd say it doesn't exist. Instead we'll sell our NHS to some US insurance companies & our farmers will be wiped out by USA meat, that is not fit for human consumption.

Any idea that Boris even knows what day it is has to be questioned.

David Davis is another sort of animal entirely. On one hand he has stood up for some very strong cases of injustice in terms of human rights, but seems to have lost his way to the cult of power & personality over this, rather than pragmatism & reason.
