Never fails to amuse me how this club can make a real 5 ring circus about anything they do....oh well at least its consistent.

 

Have I missed something? As far as I'm aware the club have said nothing about a signing today. Everything is twitter rumour and speculation as far as I can see.

 

talking about the last 2 weeks fella....it was touted as period that was gonna be extremely busy.... and yet all we get is tumbleweed rolling across the horizon.

 

Busy doesn't mean signings will happen. You can be researching, meeting, trying to agree terms with dozens of people every day... no guarantee any will sign.

Not that a signing would meet with your raison d'etre though.

I don't get posts like this on here.... People getting in a stress over lack of signings.

We are all aware of what we need and the club are looking at players to cover the positions and I'm sure negotiating behind the scenes. A lot of names have been banded about all over social media so we are busy but need to be patient.

No clubs in this division barring probably Middlesbrough have signed any more players than us this transfer window so people need to calm down and trust those in charge to get the deals done as and when they can.

Mallan Mcgeeghan Pinnock McCarthy Fryers and Isgrove all came in early to bolster the squad and now we are trying to add the attacking players that will push us on but we're not the only teams looking at these sought after players that make the difference at this level.

A bit of common sense and patience would do some people a world of good....

 

It's called attention seeking.

 

Why can't people wait and see. I am sure the club are doing their utmost to bring in players that will enhance the quality of the team. However they are not going to share details with all and sundry.

Fair enough. It is disappointing I agree. Don't think it's through lack of trying though. When they're asked about bringing players in though all they can say is the truth. They're trying to get deals done. Whether we're in danger of spoiling the ship for a haporth of tar I don't know as we don't know the details of the negotiations. We do need a striker asap but for us to spend big money it has to be the right one as far as we can tell. Like Hecky said today we have to make educated guesses.

 

Trust the club.

 

It would be just terrible if we get summat on Saturday and somebody resurrected this post. Just awful.

 

That's a tad unfair considering were the worst opening day team regardless of what team we put out.

 

This post ought to be pinned as a lesson to all the drama queens who show sod all patience. Three hours later we announce a signing.
