Offered a new deal (he's their fitness coach) but says he's "looking for a new challenge". Given he's been at Ipswich for years and appears settled there I wonder if he already has something in the pipeline. Pure speculation but could it be coming to us as part of the backroom team?

He's a good lad. A mate of mine knows him well. I guess we may be restructuring the Academy as well.

I hope this doesn't mean Redders is getting the job, with Lidds & Eaden & Wattie as part of the old dream team.

I’d have David Watson in the back room staff. Really highly thought of coach, Lids and Watson as assistants to someone would be good. Definate succession plan.
