It all seems to have gone very quiet on the rumour front. Does any body think we will make any more signings before the trip to Hungary?

Think we'll make 2 more permenant signings and then we'll be getting our loans all sorted.

Some of our loan targets won't be back at their clubs yet.

I think we need at least another 5 or 6 permanents and 5 loans.
So we need to be getting them through the door quickly - very quickly - so Hecky and staff have at least a half chance of moulding something that looks like a team.

We can speculate all we like on the number of signings but Hecky will know how many he wants so it's pointless and we ought to talk about something else instead ffs.

You understand it's a Barnsley fc discussion forum and speculation about transfer dealings is pretty fair game

Nardiello and Red CB like this.

I think guessing how many will be brought in is fair game.
Especially after listening to comments Hecky has made about the subject.

Biging up players - that eventually are sold for £5 million - or alternatively sign for Darlington or other such teams - isn't really that insightful.

Neither is saying, because we have brought in midfielders, we are going to play 5 across the middle (or in Extremely Northern's case 7 across the middle) is at all helpful or indeed an intelligent contribution to the message board.

I'd like another two this week, only rumours I've heard is Brad Potts and Oli McBurnie.

Would be nice to get another striker through door this week. As it stands the only striker we'll be training in hungry is Bradshaw and Payne. Both you could argue will be on the bench quite abit next season. If the transfers go well.

I'd also like us to sign a left back as soon as possible to complete our defence.

Interesting piece in the Yorkshire Post. Seems to confirm the reasoning behind bringing our new
CEO in . I have a gut feeling our next man/men will be in by Thursday. This time to support Bradshaw up front.
On the subject of Bradshaw last term was all about settling in. He's had a chance to see what it's all about now.
I for one expect to see a greater goals to games ratio and a more all round contribution from the lad next season.
