    100% agree.

Anyone that's ever watch any team coached by Grayson would be mad to want him near our club. Preston (when he was there) played the most boring, insipid version of 'cheatball' I've ever seen. Players diving all over the place, time wasting from minute one. Big cloggers at centre half and up front to aim the ball at. Not for me thanks.

    Agree.

Every time I've seen his teams play against us, they've always been overly aggressive, and generally played direct, long-ball football. He's a poor man's Neil Warnock.

And it’s been effective with teams he’s had Mackems apart .
It’s something we’re short of and could do with at this moment in time cos pretty football with the current staff ain’t gonna get us nowhere other than pub league1

Doesn’t exactly portray the image of someone who will dig you out of the *****. At Sunderland he dug them further in it. We need to actually win games not go for nil nilers.

If it was a short-term appointment, then fair enough.

The football has been bad enough recently, that I've not been to every game, as I probably would have previously. I don't want it to get even worse.

Maybe he will kick a few up the arse without Jamie to talk him down as I heard said a few times.

Nathan Jones doing a good job at Luton might be worth a look?
