    Please be aware there as been 6 families had their house burgled in the last week

    2 on Monday just gone

    All happened during the day

    Believe it or not the house burgled on Monday belongs to a police officer

    Caught on CCTV but still not been caught as yet

    I'm in monk Bretton pal and I had a friend got done in cudworth last Wednesday in the day. Took jewellery mainly. 2 days later somebody in Shafton got done. They're active in the area. They want hanging

    I'm at monk bretton and 3 of my neighbours have been done in the daytime, one of them a police officer too. This was about a month ago though???

    Well I have always known it as klondyke but there's a big rock with " welcome to monk Bretton" carved on it, placed just before you get to klondyke, sithi.

    It was always known as klondyke when i was a kid growning up in the 60/70s then it became west green ( in the 90s ) when they mucked about with boundaries and formed the partnerships with the European money. The welcome to monk bretton rock appeared some time around the time the new estate went in along with the fire station. ..but klondyke was always part of monk bretton just never advertised as such lol

    it was west green in the 60's 'cos that's where west green club was, and west green was on the opposite side of the road to klondyke ( bit like lundwood and burton grange )or so ive been info'd by the older end. the club moved up to where it is now in 1965 from west green
