Would that be Mr Richards, he used to turn his wedding ring around and hit you on the back of the head.
He’s alive and well. I see him at Silkstone Golf Club. I still shudder when I see him 40 odd years on.
I went to charter which was a hellish experience for so many kids. My sister went to Broadway though and I know what you mean about Richards. I remember looking out of the mobile window one day and witnessed one of the broadway PE teachers make a lad bend over and whallop him mightily a few times with a cricket bat. Not sure which teacher it was, recall him having a beard.
And believe it or not, he's literally one of the nicest blokes ive ever met. He's about 89 now and he still playes golf and goes skiing every year.
My mother lives next door to him and has don for nearly 30 years??? Most weird question I've ever asked on here but are you one of my mates?
I guess his victims would think otherwise. At Charter though the kids tended to fight back: it was a culture.
