I'm seeing a lot of things happening at other clubs. Seen Bury have signed a player today and if you take a look at the stuff Sheff United are letting out then I'm not sure you'd have put what you have Donny Red.

This isn't a negative for me, it's saying. People said I was been negative 12 months ago when I said the recruitment wasn't good enough last summer. As the season went on then people started to see what I had months ago.

What are you wanting/expecting? Things will develop, things will happen. When they do they'll be announced. Your generation has no patience.

As for your complaints about the recruitment and certain players not being good enough, can I remind you we finished the highest we ever have in your time watching the club. And players you didn't like such as Winnall and Hourihane flourished at the level and earned big moves. Others you don't rate, Robbo for example has been linked with Premier League clubs. Angus has been an absolute steal from a club now in the 7th tier of the pyramid. He's not Alfie Mawson but he's ******* good. Yids, another you don't like has been a revelation and played in an international tournament and has been linked with bigger things.

Some signings didn't work out, that's true. But it will always be hit and miss in that department. Especially when you look where we shop. It's actually arguable that the lads we signed for money further up the pyramid (the ones you keep asking us to sign) haven't been as successful. But hopefully there's time for them to get up to speed.

I understand folk worrying about us losing good players with such regularity. But that again only highlights just how good our recruitment has been.

If you'd prefer us to sign Ched or Beckford you'll be disappointed.

Have patience young Hemsworth. Exciting times this summer. Trust me.

Is the bury manager or Sheffield united manager on holiday?

Are there many other clubs signing players....?
You said you've seen lots of other clubs doing business... which ones and who have they signed that you'd have liked to see here... or players that we could afford?

    Genuine question hemsy.

Because I'd have not wanted to see ched Evans playing here.
And Jermaine beckford wouldn't fit into the managements strategy of buying hungry young players.

Not only Hecky on holiday, but also managers of other clubs we will be doing business with.

Some clubs still haven't finished their seasons, and won't have even drawn up retained lists etc.

    Stop talking sense.
We should have signed thirty players before the season ended...
Then we would have absolutely nothing to talk about for the next few months.

Selling players doesn't bother me Andy.
Players I didn't enjoying watching, ha funny from you.
Roberts been linked with Premier League clubs. Linked rumours. Roberts might be okay with West Brom, under anti football Pulis. Saying that he's been linked. I searched the name of H Muller the other day to see if he's still racing for Audi. He was linked with Arsenal, ha brilliant don't you think.

Yiadom was a bench player for Ghana along with some players that would struggle in a league two team. Not been nasty but he's been the third best right full back we've had this season.

but if you stop been so defensive, all of that I haven't been saying. It's the building blocks. We are miles behind.
I look at on and off the pitch at other clubs, today Sheffield United and think FFS we are miles behind them. Went back and listen to the Q&A the club did what 10 month ago, it doesn't match up with what's happened.

Not sure I see any logic there. Roberts is a centre half. What difference does it make what type of football a manager plays?

Because there is only you that has the gift of looking into the future.

Maybe the club should employ you as "chief I told you so"

Given half the Ghanaian team play top flight football in their respective countries, name some who would struggle in league two.

I'm as frustrated as you are Phil about the perceived lack of CEO activity, most of us are but I don't get why you need to vent your spleen about Hecky taking a holiday at this time of year.

He's earned a break and besides from you I don't think anybody would deny him a holiday with his wife and kids.

Me and my old fashioned views. I'm just an old relic who doesn't understand modern football.
