We’ll not know till the accounts are published, but I doubt if they’ve put any money in. The Cryne family wouldn’t likely agree to prop the club up whilst the other investors still owe them money, and the others wouldn’t put money in if it wasn’t equally split inc the Crynes.
There will also be some money coming in from iFollow passes. No idea how much though. Also sponsorship money.
I thought that statement was before then, the goal posts have changed a bit. We've around a £9m wage bill a year judging by previous championship accounts. I'm guessing sponsorship is well down, we've only sold Brown of any significance, given Woodrow a pay rise , a got a payment for Struber. Doesn't add up how we've kept our heads above water this season.
T.v revenue for the championship hasnt changed, we sold brown for a reported 2 million with add ons, got a reported 1.8 million euros for struber. The owners minght have loaned the club some money or took a loan out to bridge the gap but I doubt they have changed there mind and bridging the gap with handouts. The loans will be easily repaid if so, we have our fingers in loads of pies in regards sell ons and if we don't go up have some very good players on decent contracts. They will be clubs in far far worse positions than us. They haven't even made the installments to buy the club.
How much of that Brown money will we have got? 1 instalment? Clubs are losing a fortune this season, it'll be no different for us.
We have sell ons aswell for conor, holgate, wilks, lindsay, pinnock, potts. We also received a sell on for moore.
I hate this argument about having rich owners. Every so often a graphic comes up showing our owners are near the top. It's pointless. They could have all the money in the world, but if the club has 7 fans paying £250 a year, the club is not rich.
Doubt there was a sell on for moore. Just that once the Wigan admins sold him, they could then pay the outstanding balance of his fee to us. They won’t have made a profit for us to get a percentage of. We might get a sell on for Hourihane if Swansea go up. Not sure who else might make a decent money move though
If Sheff Wednesday fans want to believe BFC is rich I think we should indulge them and explain to them just how massive we actually are now
These are special circumstances. I don’t think it would be fair to suggest that helping keep the lights on Is the same as chucking money at the club. What good would their investement be if they let it go to the wall? If they’ve put anything in, something will have to give in the future to cover their investment. Wigwam fans were pointing out that we had lost money sometimes, as if it made us the same as them. Difference is we don’t lose money as part of our business plan and in that occasion Potts was sold to even things up.
Other clubs' fans weren't talking about how rich our owners are 7 games into the season. I suppose 300k for Morris, a defender from Forest Green and a loan player is what you call buying success?
They haven’t a clue what’s going on at BFC really. We’ve had these owners for several years now and have been relegated and sold our best players to our own fans annoyance. All of a sudden we’re the best small budget club in the division so some are trying to cheapen our achievement to date. Its laughable
