    I've not seen the Dier one but if it's anything like the Maguire one then that's ridiculous. There was nothing wrong with it at all. It was a perfectly timed tackle.

    Agree with the OP on this. Both took the ball & there was no danger to the player with high feet.

    Linesman had a good game. Ref was swayed too much by home fans.

    Thought the one with Pickford was a bit over hyped. Yeah he put his hands on the guy, but outfield players do that all the time when scrapping for the ball.

    The dier tackle clearly had nothing wrong with it, even Sergio Ramos had no complaints. He’d just been clattered and just stood up.

    Maguire’s if anything was ‘cleaner’ than Dier’s.

    Ridiculous yellow cards. The same ref would likely have sent Ben Williams off the other week.
