One wicket left. Bairstow still there so we might yet get a few more. Our bowlers are
going to have to bring their A game otherwise we could struggle.

The weather forecast looks bad tomorrow. Unless it changes there might not be much play especially in the afternoon. Draw is looking great odds. Surprised it isn't odds on yet.

I would take that at 29 for 2 seems like tailenders had to play the get out of shize card

I'd take a draw right now.

Great ball by Broad. Warner will be sick of him now he's got him out all three times during the series. At some point he will get a big score for Australia. My guess is it will be when we get Smith out cheaply because we won't be lucky enough to get them both out on the cheap in both innings of the same match.

Why do England batsman play forward defensive's outside off stump? Either **** it away through point or cover or leave it.

Because the ball's seaming away at 90mph.

Then it's seaming away from your stumps.

Or David Gower. They both tickled it outside off stump.

Broad and Joff bowled well last night and the Aussie batsmen looked really shaken up. Hopefully that continues this morning.

Looking forward to morning session. 258 might turn out to be a good score yet with conditions likely to suit.

In South London its overcast, though rain isn't due til mid afternoon allegedly.

We need to pitch it up a little more. Archer is bowling too short. Got to hit top of off at Lords and just let the slope do its thing.

By the way, was at the Oval for Surrey v Sussex last night. Sam Curran gave a very gutsy performance with bat, ball and in the field in tough conditions where the ball was gripping and pace off was meaning everyone else was struggling to time it.

Time for Stokes to be cast away as an allrounder seeing as he rarely gets runs, rarely bowls and once upon a time he caught a decent catch or 3. Time for Sam Curran to be given a run in the side and see if he can average over 33.76 after 97 innings.

I heard an excellent quote to describe Englands batting yesterday. 'Englands bating is like a Rubiks cube in the hands of a novice' is a great analogy.

That's why you bat the line of your stumps and don't chase the ball.

Yeah I can't understand why Curran is constantly over looked.

I agree but there’s no chance of those in charge grabbing the bull by the horn!
Id bring him and that keeper back and drop Bairstow and that walking wicket from Lancashire Buttler.

I'm glad Bairstow was batting today.
