    He was a one goal every three games striker with a regular shirt. Mixing in all those 10 or 15 minute cameos for West Ham skew the figures.

    Can't see him going anywhere on loan until West Ham sign a couple of forwards and then would be amazed if we got him

    I think he would be a fantastic signing for us. I also don’t think it’s realistic, but you never know. What Boro paid was ridiculous.

    Would highly doubt he is on anything like 30k, fair play has put a little strictness into younger player wages. If Boro are making him available, now, then they would have given up on getting back anything like 7 million, if that was the cost. Still would be a departure from our transfer policy of previous and his record at this level is not great, but the market for big strikers is insane this window, can see us taking a punt...
