Stated as the goal, i like that. Some ambition, can't remember the last time anything so positive was set out by the club.
I thought the same I'd love to see us automatically promoted only seen it once watching us and never seen us champions.
actions speak louder than words they're pissing in the wind if they think we can achieve that with zero investment and no experience
He's only been in job 10 mins. Give him and owners a bit of time to sign some players and work with team before you start moaning
That didn’t take long did it? If your name isn’t Phil and you don’t live in Hemsworth then you ought to go meet him, you’d get on.
You know there's two months to go before the window closes, right? Many clubs haven't made moves yet and of the clubs who did, most only have brought in a single player so far. So let's calm down a bit.
Hopefully it shows our intent.... We need to back the manager with some signings though if we are to go straight back up! We have got the basis of a decent team so a few additions and I believe we will be competative at the top end of the division next season.
Whoever mentioned zero investment? No matter what the financial situation at the club (presumably reasonably healthy) we still need to sell before we buy due to the squad being so bloated.
They can claim we want automatic promotion when they show signs of intent in the transfer market for a change but unless that happens there is no reason to believe we can be anywhere near the top 2 next season.
after we have already sold off a whole squad what a joke. Zero investment in January so its hardly wise to anticipate that will change this window.
The zero investment that brought in Mills, Pinillos, Mahoney, Knasmullner, Moore and McBurnie all last January? Maybe not all of them have worked out (so far), but to say they didn't invest is just ignorant. And the possibilities in January are generally more limited than in summer anyway.
Much of it paid for from the money our relegation rival would have given us for the defender we let them have too. Be positive it's a clean slate now for a fresh start. He likes bringing through youth, to play with a few older heads. That's promising that we could actually sign say two of three guys in their 30s to play in the same team as some promoted academy lads.
Well Mr Cuckoo/ Hemsworth , there was investment in january & there was plenty last summer , the nucleus of the squad were tied down to longer contracts which was what the fan base wanted , therefore this squad has not been sold off & there has been investment so please do not go off on one of your attention seeking rants with out thinking what you are saying. Personally I would think unless there are players moving out then 4 or 5 new players should give us a competitive squad & with the season only ending 2 weeks ago ,that kind of recruitment should not be a problem
