Frustrated counting his bank notes, not even bench warming. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/05/0...rustrations-about-his-time-at-sheffield-wedn/
Well its hardly a shock to anyone is it. They will loan him out next season whether or not they get promoted. Likely to be a side they dont think is a threat to the top 6 - but not us
I could've written that article 4/5 months ago as it was always going to happen. Made me laugh seeing his tweet the other day about "play offs here we come", he's not even going to be part of the squads for those games
But, would we welcome him back? I'd like to see him a Barnsley shirt again but I doubt that it will happen.
We wouldn't be able to afford him anymore even if we did want to re-sign him. Which we won't. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Wouldn't even think about having him back - apart from the rare individual goal, most of his others seem to have been created by Hourihane. I know from speaking to the lads I work with who are Wednesday fans that they don't create a load of chances but are relatively clinical, was obvious Winnall wasn't going to do a lot in that team.
No not after the way he left. Also it sounded like he was a pain in the dressing room even before his transfer was sorted. Burnt his bridges with us
Never. Maybe look past forcing a move to our nearest rivals because it was four times more money. Can look past his goal celebration for us because him applauding at the end is probably his way of saying sorry and regretting what he did in the heat of the moment. What can never be forgiven is the photo of him signing a contract with them getting leaked on the day Mr Barnsley had his big send off. It was probably his agent but when the photo was taken he should have let it be known that it shouldn't be coming out today of all days. He's not the first and won't be the last guy to play for us to realise grass isn't greener elsewhere. Could have had a chat with Hammill or got in touch with Brian Howard or Daniel Nardiello for example. Could well be Marley Watkins if he goes to Ipswich because Mick wants Niall McGinn and he'd be ahead of Marley as similar kind of player.
Yes, id much rather have Bradshaw starting than a 20 goal a season striker when the ******* WAVED HIS ARMS at the East Stand.
He won't be coming back to Oakwell on loan. I think his signing was as much about scuppering our playoff challenge, as it was about signing a 5th choice striker. Could see him being sold on at profit next season. Plenty of teams with cash.
If you can't hold a grudge with all he did from disrupting the dressing room prior to leaving, forcing a move to local rivals, posting a picture of his move the day of rimmos funeral, celebrating scoring against us like a Poundland adebayor and not acknowledging how we as a club helped his career what the **** is the point in supporting a team? Totally nullified sport if you approach it in this jejune fashion as though being interested in rivalries and the actions of players is somehow beneath you.
I'm interested in us having a good team and winning games. I'm interested in us having good players and winning games, neither of which will happen with what's on our retained list currently. Someone having a mard-arse tantrum and over celebrating a goal genuinely does not bother me one jot. It's the sort of thing I would have probably done in my twenties if I was a footballer. Awesome use of 'jejune' though.
