This lad is going to be a player for us in this league. With more time on the ball and now better players around him, his talent should become more obvious. It was clear last season that he is a very creative football player and with the right players making the right spaces, he will pick them out. It’s only game week 1 but for all of the 6m we’ve spent so far......the rumoured 150k we have spent on this lad is going to prove to be probably the biggest bargain of them all.

Agree with all of that. The options Bahre had today from our wide players made a classy player look even better. Brilliant footballer.

Hard to see from my seat in the ponty but looking back on quest that miss was a sitter just before half time should have buried that. Having said that he had a big part in the goal and played a great ball for thomas when he rounded the keeper 2nd half. He was blowing towards the end and should have come off.

Honestly if he could finish he’d be a premier league player. Technically he’s unbelievable in terms of his touch & close control

If you look at the replay though, especially on Quest, he was fouled just as he was taking the shot, the defender caught his foot, should have been a penalty.

Oh and the passes to Thomas were top notch, both for the goal and when Thomas went round the keeper in 2nd half.

Im so pleased, people are now seeing mike for what he is, a very good football player. His ability and passing and work rate are first class.
I stated ages ago i am sometimes lucky enough to attend games with scouts (all above our level), Mike and pinnock were always top of their list.
I actually thought id come on here yesterday and just read people slating him for the miss!
This kid will get better and he has better players around him now, so his passes will be more pleasing to the eye.
I noticed in the first half fulham couldnt get near him, real quality.
