and why would they have been worse than Davey??? both have premiership managerial experience, both have experienced promotion, thats it, anyone that gets promotion gets the sack at Barnsley FC
RE: It all makes sense now dont dis the USA know a couple of lads from Doncaster and Bradford' academy who are going there soon theyve got excellent facilities over their and top class coaches im sure our academy has done a deal with a yank team
RE: It all makes sense now Nardiello's cousin has gone over 2 usa to play for an academy over there as well n nardy said he has come on tons. He was in cov's youth team b4 that I think
Why would they have been better? Time will tell, not the opinion of a vociferous few. Get behind the management team because:- 1. I think they are focused on proving themselves and doing the best for BFC 2. What purpose does all the negativity have. Davey and Kidd have been given a job to do and wont be sacked this side of May. Our only hope is to back the lads to the hilt for better or worse. The inane rantings of disenchanted fans does nothing at present other than alienate the very men who have saved (are saving) our club from extinction. Unless of course you have 10 million waiting to back your self percieved supieror insights into how you could do it better.
Perhaps we should have offered an 32yo player from a relegation threatened side a 3 year deal? I think not.
USA soccer Known for its excellent COLLEGE soccer coaching.I also know a few lads who have been on soccer scholarships in the USA.We are talking about MANAGING a League football team and Daveys credentials for that , different kettle of fish all together.
This unanimous vote of confidence in the management team Why did the Trust feel it necessary to have such a vote and what have you lot been watching over the last 9 games
Nigel Spackman's first interview with the fans was also very impressive. More coaching badges than could fit on his tracky top. Nutritionists and a team of Physios coming to the club. Loads of money to be spent and we were going up. We all believed him. Problem with these overqualified coaches is that they need to use what they've been taught and get the whiteboards out. Hence, what was a simple game to the likes of Cloughy, Paisley and Shankley (Who had no coaching badges) suddenly becomes rocket science and you start tinkering with formations. (Left backs at right back, left backs in centrakl midfield to name but two examples). Most of these Grade A* coaches can talk a good game but unfortunately its out on the field where the results are determined.
Thats whats worrying me as well Son of Spackman.......Jaffa cakes all round at the Trust meeting by the sound of it
RE: Thats whats worrying me as well not a jaffa cake in sight! the fact is he's in charge til the season end so whatever you may think now is the time to back him to the hilt-as he said it won't be for the want of trying keeping us up
Just give the bloke a chance,he must have seen something about Williams not being at left back,as foe the USA,if all the tactics, methods prove popular give it ago, nothing to lose all to gain. We as a club need to build on this and establish in the Championship, forget the Premiership Wilson's year, this is now wait and see the signing's that Davey makes as i feel by the meeting that some of the player's do not figure in his team/squad plans. The board are giving all the support to Davey and his transfer ambition's so let's leave all this doom and gloom negative feedback let's do our part and cheer the lad's on.
