We've been fantastic for 90 percent of the season but today we didn't have any stand out players. All our creative ones had a mare. Nothing came off. Got a point. Only decent thing I can post.

Get to Pompey. Get a result.

Ps We missed big Keiffer big time.

Pretty much how I saw it. Our only stand out player was Pinnock.

Too many off-nights on our side plus a bit of a strange shape to us and of course the opposition came to spoil too.
Take the point and move on to a big game Saturday.

I agree with the above but having said that we still had 2 cleared off the line, 2 other really good chances, a blatant penalty for handball waved away, a stone wall 2nd booking for the fullbacks constant assaults on brown turned away and reduced a team in the same league as ourselves to smash the ball anywhere.
Having said that, we played nowhere near our potential but it happens

Burton came with a plan and it defiantly worked.
When we had the ball banked two rows of players and closed down players on the ball. Became evident that little passes to break through their defence wasn’t going to work. It was too tight and got to a point where with our players in close proximity to you had over 50% of the players at least in a very small part of the pitch.
We seemed to get sucked in and lost our width to. Hedges provided a few decent crosses but all credit to Burton defended well.
No mugs they went down with us last season so have Championship experience not as if we drew with one of the bottom 4 or something.
Think Luton’s to lose now but the 3 in contention of the 2nd place all still got to play Burton and think these matches potential banana skins also we’ve to play each other.
We didn’t lose and in the big shakeup the point we got could be massive and be the difference.
Think the decision not to bring in another striker could be an error. Should have gone against our policy and picked up a player with goals in them possibly coming to the end of their career. Someone possibly to give 60 minutes but experienced.
Somebody who could have helped change things yesterday.
Showing against a well marshalled defence our players are still a little naive as think after about 60 minutes we seemed to run out of ideas. Substitutions didn’t really change this either.
With Green named then removed is this an injury?
