I wouldn’t play him whether he’s eligible or not to be honest. They’ll have trained all week with a team sorted and he’s probably not even met the squad. We will hopefully see Woodrow this week though.
Yeah, they said a muscle dtrain didn’t they...... or are they bull-shutting like Davey used to do? I always liked that about Davey - use to ******** the media about who was injured etc, so the opposition were never sure of the full team.
Agree wouldn't play Bahre if available doesn't know the players would be a lot better watching then having a week to train. If Woodrow isn't 100% then he wouldn't start for me. I'd play Adeboyejao or brown up there who'll be able to replicate Bradshaws closing down which is imperative for us to get off to a fast start and press to win the ball back. Moncur is an impact sub for me although I think his fitness has improved this season he cannot maintain the tempo required. Be interesting to see what happens today especially with Browns impressive performance last week.
According to the reports I've been reading, Woodrow has a slight muscle strain and won't be risked and Bahre needs time to " acclimatise" to his new surroundings, so it is unlikely that he will feature in today's game. When you think about it, it's a big lifestyle adjustment for the lad to make. New surroundings, new teammates and a complete change to the routine he's been used to. Let's hope he settles quickly and over the coming weeks can express himself positively on the pitch. Good luck to both of our new boys.
Thought his ‘slight muscle strain’ meant he wouldn’t be risked to start, didn’t realise he wasn’t fit for the bench either. Oh well.
