Just thought id mention that after his inclusion we looked good again. The glue to the side, kept our passing going, was incisive and confident and for me transformed us, into a more cohesive unit. Looked classy in a side that needed it. Well done the coach for the sub.......again.
He looked alright, but I wouldn’t go overboard. Wouldn’t have troubled the goalkeeper if we’d kept playing till next Saturday.
Yes where is the how many balls can the Williams give away thread, both a yard slow to the pass, but both bust a gut and tried all you can ask
Both it was a one man midfield at times ,Mowatt put it in tonight ,but both young and tried there best all you can ask
Bahre didnt waste a pass and covered loads of ground, he made us tick again with his link play. Look at us before and after. Too many people look for the negatives in his play (and i concede he has some) but he was great when he came on and coincidently, so were we, proud of our make shift team tonight.
He looked good today when he came on but he was awful Tuesday night no denying that. Needs some consistency
He made us into an attacking threat when he came on, y not put mama down the middle at same time, styles also should av come on.
He’s such a frustrating player, when he comes on as a sub he looks great but when he starts he’s often poor.
I honestly think we have to take him warts and all. There was no doubting his effectiveness tonight and donny had no idea how to deal with him. People are massively quick to slag him off and point to his defficiencies but all the players have faults. mowatt good as he is lacks half a yard of pace, Woodrow can go missing at times, lyndsey lacks concentration in bits, pinnock....actually no ...I have nothing on Nathan! With all our make shift side, that first half showed me we needed someone to make our normally very good passing ....come off. That did not happen until mike bahre entered the field.
