Got to say, as a professional who’s been robbed of the chance of working and plying his trade, he needs to take the EFL to court over how he’s been treated. Either him or the club do. He’s either guilty or not. Simple. Even if it was ‘accidental usage’ due to it being in something else. 8 months to determine the outcome is beyond disbelief. Even the Police have limited time to either press charges or release culprits.
Phenix was banned for failing a test last year. He failed the test in September and wasn't handed the ban till may. On that time scale it would be August before anything happens. And that's without the disruption from covid-19
In the event that he receives a ban, does the time he's been unable to play count as part of his ban?
Did he actually get officially suspended or was it a club decision to stop playing him until the full facts came out ? If it was a club decision then they should force the football leagues hand and start playing him again
I believe so guidelines say if suspension period is longer than the punishment by time heard he would only receive a fine.
