    Had the likes of May, Gray & Geddis been signed to supplement players of the quality of Banks, Parker, Barraclough, Birch & McCarthy instead of replacing them, then Hunter probably wouldn't have been sacked just a few months later.
    Selecting Nicky Law instead of Mick McCarthy? Good grief!

    And thirty five years later we've still not learned anything for May, Gray and Geddis - read Bree, Hourihane and Winnall - lets hope that Hecky doesn't go the same way as Norman - a great man and one of the best managers we've ever had.
