He reminds me of someone from those clips. Can't remember who though? Dead ball specialist. Amazing long shot. Doesn't score tap ins. Diamond left foot...

Hope he has the right attitude to learn and develop under Hecky though. Moncur has all the talent as well. If they knuckle down and put yard yards in we could be sitting on a couple of future stars.

Hignett was up there with redfearn and hourhine would you not agree? If Barnard hadn't missed that pen and we beat ipswich that day he would have been alot more of a legend. So you could say we replaced redder's 2 years later.

Sounding like we can have him if Leeds can find a replacement.

Re: I would still like either Bogle or Watkins too

Agree with that apart from c) in some cases - look at Villa snapping up 3 quality players at a fraction of their real value as they're out of contract in the summer.

But they would have been even cheaper in the summer. In fact, they would have been free.

If, like reported on here and the Leeds forums that he has been at the club today for a medical, then one could assume that the wages had been agreed already. According to Nixon on twitter tonight, Leeds and Barnsley are moving closer to agreeing a fee. Fingers crossed.

I never saw Hignett as a midfield player more a false 9 or a number 10.

Hignett used to play wide in a 4-4-2 most of the time under Bassett, but would wander around a lot

They wouldn't though, they'd have gone somewhere else!
