Can't choose between the last two options, I wouldn't clean my toilet with the first three options.

Local bitter for me. I can drink John's/Worthington's/Tetley's if they are the best/only option.

Just as a side issue what makes a lager "premium"? To my mind Stella is as bad, if not worse than Carling.

I'd put that as a mass produced bitter.

Their advertising for it always made me smile, showing the rolling hills of Galway and images designed to suggest its deeply rural Celtic heritage....the bloody p**s was produced by Bass Belfast in Andersonstown.... images of bombed out buildings and paramilitary murals would have been far more accurate.

If it's over 5% it's classed as "premium", and it tends to be pricier. I'm not making any comment about the quality here!

My mate who has a micro brewery sells at £2.20-£2.50 for half a litre, and says his profit margin is around 10%. Obviously he doesn't have the advantage of economies of scale, but his main expense is imported hops.

So it's the alcohol quantity that defines it. I never knew that.

Definitely nowt premium about the taste of Stella!
