Credit to my mate Nick for finding this article, stating that Leeds United are appointing a new Chief Executive. http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...me-leeds-united-chief-executive-a3528466.html Now that is / was Ben's job ....
Curiously, his linkedin profile still states CEO at Leeds. The image, holding a piece of silverware with red and white ribbons.
Sam Rush Derby CEO who has been placed on gardening leave was supposedly at Oak well for talks yesterday Sent from my X5pro using Tapatalk
The Sam Rush link does seem more feasible! Here's the Derby Telegraph's latest on the situation: http://www.derbytelegraph.co.uk/unc...derby-county/story-30303346-detail/story.html I work in Derby so I'll consult the local grapevine!
Seems unlikely to me. Other articles say he has been put on gardening leave by the Chairman for very poor transfer activity and that he is currently the highest paid CEO in Championship on £500000 per year.
I suspect BM would crawl on his hands and knees to get back I believe, could he regain the trust he held with PC pre departure is the question ? would we have him back? I would, sometimes don't realise what you had till its gone. Linton being in the seat was a car crash, PC trusted him, hence he got the opportunity. think the question is not 'would he' or 'would we' because it's a YES, but it's the rebuild of trust with PC is the unknown.
Seriously ? Wouldn't ******* pay him in tap washers Sent from the darkest recesses of a poisoned mind.
I disagree, all what happens is, when we do employ a new CE, he will become a target for cynisism on here.
Do people on here have any sort of foooooking memory??? Read what PC had to say when he left. Jeez !!!
Why? It's massive that we get it right. The three most important area's financially for the club are Season ticket sales and building on a number that's the highest it seems to have been for 7/8 seasons. Commercially, sponsorships often completed at this time right through until the end of July. How many sponsors without an ultimate tie to the club will be looking at BFC without a day to day figurehead and thinking, yes we'll have sone of that. Most important of all, Recruitment into the first team. What's going to happen? who's going to do the nitty gritty? Paul Heckingbottom on what I think was the 27/04/17 made a statement of i'll be turning OFF MY PHONE FOR 2 WEEK. So the Sales mans not going to be there and the details man hot footed it in January. I'm sorry but we need communication. Look at the other clubs and they are getting people talk to Radio Sheffield regularly. Take it back just 12 months. We had a person like him or not that we would get statements from, be on Radio Sheffield and even might have done something on Barnsley player. He was approachable in person too. Hopefully when this ceo's in the media team at Oakwell will be able to get things going. maybe an exclusive interview with plenty of questions.
