I'd like to wish you all a lovely Christmas, I hope you get what you wish for, be that gifts, peace, love or even a rest. 3 points on Boxing Day would do me. I say this every year, but please spare a thought for those with an empty chair at the dining table this year, those who might not see another Christmas, those who are on their own, those who aren't quite sure where they'll spend tonight or tomorrow, those in hospital, and those who are working or serving the country in distant and dangerous lands. Think of their families too. I'm looking back at 2017 as a mixed year. It's had its pleasures and pain in many ways, but I know others who have endured more and are coming out on the other side. And with the support of many people and especially my wife, I'm ending it with renewed optimism, albeit on a journey destination unknown. I've drawn immense strength from those close to me, learned very quickly what really matters and that other things simply don't. Take care, onwards and upwards.
Christmas is always a time of reflection. We come on here to mainly talk BFC, but music, politics and other stuff pervade too. On many subjects I disagree with posters on here re the latter, but other than folks that want to spread hatred of minorities I genuinely wish everyone else well. To be different is not a bad thing. On BFC there are the happy clappers and the knee jerkers. We come on a forum to express views. If enough of us think the same way it can sometimes make a difference. We all have lives to live. Friends and family, dogs and cats. Life goes on. Peace & 3 points on boxing day.x
