You and me both - my most embarassing ski fall ever whilst cruising down a green run the Mrs yells - Oooh look.!....... A squirrel so I looked fell and slid straight into a tree.

Some sympathy would have been nice but all my mates were just doubled up with laughter

You seem to have an obsession with faeces. To each his own but this is a family forum. Maybe other forums are more suited to your "quirk".

I’m a big barnsley football club fan though. Can I come to your house so we can sniff each other’s fingers again?

No. It rules all the fantasists out. The ones who want to spend the imaginary millions we don't have.
Mind you once the takeover happens said fantasists can start screaming that not enough millions are being spent as we're not in the top half of the premiership.

How about all the proponents of the theory we made no effort to keep Horihane, Winnall etc at the club despite the blindingly obvious facts that we were about 10 to 20k per week short of the cash to do it?
Or how about those who criticise everything the club does yet rarely if ever venture an opinion on what they'd do differently?
I don't need to name names, I've argued with them often enough.

You might be right there was no choice but the real transfers I cannot accept were not bothering or being too slow to retain Scowen and actively pushing Roberts out of the dorr. Both criminal in my mind.

I know you (or those liking your post) won't agree. So ******* what. It is supposed to be a board where differing opinions can be expressed. Some don't want to hear anything that suggests that some actions might have been wrong and others want to stand up and say that x player will be the next star, safe in the knowledge that when they are released their posts won't be bumped to be laughed at when all it takes is someone to have a half reasonable match for anyone who has dared say that x player isn't up to it.

I genuinely don't know the story with Roberts. I've heard the so and so's mother said this and such and such said the other stuff. Personally I'd have kept him this season.
There's also the possibility that assets were being realised to make the club as financially healthy as possible to encourage the prospective buyers. I don't know.
I find it difficult to believe they were released out of cussedness, lack of reason or strategy, however.
