    From the Mirror:

Viewers were left furious after more than twenty near-naked men performed highly-sexual routines at London's Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday night.

The eyebrow-raising act was a preview of the new Magic Mike musical - and even featured a cameo from Hollywood actor, Channing Tatum.

Yet, understandably, many viewers were left angered by both the feminist double-standard and the tone of the segment.

Spot on it would never happen with 20 female strippers would it?

    "Many viewers were left angered"

Imagine actually being offended about some **** on TV targeted toward the mentally deficient.

Where did these angry viewers express their feelings to directly?

This could be the most ignorant thing I've ever read. After generations of page 3, lap dancing clubs, bunny girls holding up grid positions for formula one or round numbers in boxing, newspapers, TV, film and magazines littered with half naked women we're complaining of double standards?

Of course there are double standards, the other ******* way.

It would take a decade of every man on earth walking about with his **** out all day every day to get anywhere near close to putting things on an even keel.

Whether they were male or female I do feel it was very inappropriate for a family variety show.

You wouldn't see females doing what the blokes did would you mate? PS Are you female if so that explains a lot.

There’s a lot of sense being spoken in this thread and it’s not by fatalbert.

I’ve just watched it, for research purposes obviously :D They did a bit of dancing and took their tops off. It wasn’t great for family viewing due to a couple of crotch grabs but it was tame compared to burlesque shows and certainly nothing at all like strip clubs. How you can call that double standards I have no idea.

Pretty much what Jam Drop says above
To be honest I was more offended by the over the top reaction of David Walliams and Amanda Holden behaving like teenagers at a Bay City rollers concert.

Do Mirror readers get offended at professional boxers boxing topless as well?
Have they ever been to a circus and seen what some of the men and women acrobats are wearing there

To my mind they are a decent male dance group, not really my thing, and it could have done without the crotch grabs but if we are really getting all bent out of shape at male performers dancing shirtless I am losing the will.
