Vince and Stoneman having to settle the ship?!

Seriously think this is one of the weakest batting line ups we've fielded in ashes. Only Root and Bairstow would be considered ashes class. Moen if he fancies it. Cook is shot against the full ball. He won't make 200 in the series

Seriously hope I'm made to look a right dick by the end of the series!

Anyone else think this is being ruined by these commentators? I'm no great fan of Sky but I'm missing Bumble, Hussain and Holding (whilst glad to be rid of Gower, Warne and Dullerton).

BT though have taken the English radio commentators and added the Aussie domestic T20 ones and all of 'em are just rabbiting on and on and on. Oh for a facility to have the sound from the ground without the constant inane yapping. I've gone through full houses on about 20 of the same Ashes '******** Bingo' cards in the first hour!

Just wish they'd take a leaf from the undisputed king, God rest his soul - "Don't speak unless you can add to the picture", (Richie Benaud).

Got to be honest I stayed up until 12, flicked to sky sports to watch and found out it was on BT sports. **** off if I'm paying them £25 a month plus a £35 enabling fee to watch the ashes)

Good old 5 live. Most of the time I listen to that rather than Sky anyway. A 5 live session is so much more than just the game. Suppose it's also fond memories of sitting round the radio with my brother and listening to the ashes way past our bed times.

Universal TV app - it’s on Willow Cricket channel. Solid streaming with sound only half a second behind ( which is ok in cricket!).

Managed to get BT for half price last night so had it on. Commentary was shocking they never shut up and rarely added anything. Good day for England, great application by Vince and Stoneman in particular. Need to get up to 350-400 tomorrow and get into their weak batting lineup.

Yep, 350-400 needed - big first session about to start. I have a horrible feeling that we might collapse to 250-ish all out, hope I'm wildly wrong.

    Nearly spot on .
Warner has a stiff neck .
If I were captain I would get my bowlers to alternate .
One ball over the wicket then one round the wicket .
Get him to change his stance every ball .
Might work , might not .
