    Interesting piece from the FT on the possible future plans of the new Consortium.
    We've seen most of it in other articles , but there's a new suggestion I've not seen before in that they might
    be looking to establish a network of Clubs around the World, so they can trade and develop players.!
    That could be very interesting to see how that eventually evolves and how we might be involved in it.
    As Whitey has already commented, exciting times could well lie ahead.!

    Yeah I read this the other day. It stands us in good stead at present that the only other club they have a stake in is a club who are in the Europa League.

    It could be a very beneficial partnership in terms of us signing experienced players.

    On the other hand it may just mean that we lose our best players on the cheap to Nice instead of Villa.

    I'm half way through the Moneyball film at the moment. They are losing every game and he's under pressure, as his radical system doesn't seem to be working. It's reminiscent in some ways of when we were bottom of League One in 2015/16.
