They haven't disclosed the percentage though..... https://www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/...ew-preston-north-end-man-brad-potts-1-9525547 He must have gone for two plus million if what we got for him is a significant profit as we indicated when we sold him.
If we bought him for £750g and Blackpool have a 15% sell on fee. Taking into account what’s been said and the fact that Preston have broken their transfer record, it’s clear that he went for 3.24 million pounds with a 20% sell on clause. Simple maths really.
Surely all we can deduce is that, if reports are accurate and he his Preston's record signing, then he went for over £1.5 million.
If we paid £750k for Potts and we've got £2m for him and you factor in say a 20% sell on clause to Blackpool then we would be left with a profit of £850k (if we get the full fee). However, we also have to assume that the fee is likely to be structured, so say initial payment of £1.25m and a further £750k subject to appearances and various other clauses. We may actually not end up getting the full £2m for him.
