Was just listening and made me laugh. They were doing a feature on Joe Harts unbelievable performance in the Nou Camp and they went off on a tangent talking about great goalkeeping performances by unknown keepers down the years that never get much recognition. Anyway Bob Mills is an Orient fan and he started raving about this Barnsley keeper Andy Davies. Said on Tuesday nothing could get past him and some of the saves he made, the home fans were applauding, that nobody had probably ever heard of this keeper Andy Davies but his performance was something else! Anyway, Colin Murray had to end it all in the studio by saying "Bob , this unknown keeper from Barnsley.........its Adam Davies not Andy!"
Years back, I used to call this certain bloke Steve. After about 6 months he said to me one day "Why do you call me Steve, my name's Dave ....?" Do'h.
Ha ha,not just me then,there's a tarn fan at our place,he's only a temp but has been here on and off for the last 5 or 6 years and in all that time he's always called me Steve, " oreight Steve , morning Steve, wi going up Steve ", I'm called Ricky, ain't telling him though ,sithi.
