Are you saying this because we often fail to beat teams like them who are on a poor run of some sorts, and when theres more expectation and/or pressure on us ?.
I understood it and I have got used to your way of posting on here a bit more now. (I just wanted to clarify it for those that didn't have a scooby doo!)
We're renowned for ending other teams' bad spells, Ive been watching since 1961 and its a habit that predates me
Fingers crossed we can win & put ourselves back in control of our destiny. I think Brum may pull off a win against Wolves & if they do the 3 points will be vital. We have been more positive at home since Hecky left & we need to seize the initiative, like we did vs the Blunts and pray no more goalkeeping errors occur & we can bring subs on a bit quicker when players will inevitably tire.
Bolton are physical and bullied our pretty boy midfielders at their place. I actually think Kieffer will make a big difference and we can now fight fire with fire. If we stay in it physically we will beat them imho. I'd even play Pinnock at left back to make us even stronger.
I’m expecting a very poor nervous game - very little football played - that could go either way. It depends on who can hold their head.
Potts & Gardner can mix it up a bit to be fair. Moncur & Mallan I agree are show ponies. Both could be better players if they ran a bit more & could make a tackle. Mallan could be a Conor type if he could run. He can clearly hit the ball well. At the moment he doesn't fit in to the system. Moncur is better, but can only play for 45 minutes.
To be fair he hasn't done too bad playing under Jose, just lacks one thing, goals. But Hammill and Isgrove are hardly banging them in either.
To be honest ,our opinions are polar opposites , I think both Hammell & Isgrove are capable of putting a tackle in, whilst Thiam is struggling to tackle a chip supper
Fair enough. Either way i hope they prove me wrong and we go on to win convincingly. Personally i think this is going to be a match with little to no quality on offer, with little goals or chances.
