It's a tricky one. Another Birmingham win would be disastrous, but I don't want Bolton to win either, as we still have to play them and could reel them back in if we beat them. It's got to be a draw hasn't it?
A Birmingham win would leave us five points from safety. I assume you’ve got your heart set on League One.
I think Bolton are the team we can catch, Birmingham have a Quality squad of players, they spent fortunes on them in the summer and now they have a manager who is and can get the best from them, if we have to match their results from now until the end of the season I think we’re doomed, but I think we could match and better Bolton’s
I’m not so sure, we still have Bolton to play, and a game in hand on them. And I think Birmingham will piss safety, no points for Bolton is the best thing in my opinion.
We'd be 8 behind Bolton if they win - can you see us getting 2 extra wins to overhaul them, assuming we can beat them of course!
Except Birmingham will play again on Saturday - so even if we win they will still be 2 in front. We'd need Bolton to then lose at least another 2 plus us beating them. I'm sorry to say it but it is no longer in our hands - we are now relying on other teams not winning as well as hoping for wins
If we win our games we stay up. Tomorrow’s result doesn’t change that. We’re not relying on teams losing. We’re still relying on us winning.
I think what he means is that if Bolton win we can catch Brum and if Brum win we can catch Bolton because we still have to play them.
