Looks looks they’ve got away with it https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/new...olton-wanderers-seek-to-avoid-administration/
How can somebody force a company into administration when that company is trying to repay their loan but they refuse to accept payment? Am I missing something?
Think it’s to do with time limits . If there hadn’t been time limits sounds like they would have held off forever
Whilst elbowing half the world in the face and not bothering to apologise, because being the victim necessitates £25million compensation but being the aggressor isn't even worth a 'sorry.'
I always thought we had a lot in common with Lancashire clubs. Bolton Preston Blackburn Burnley We used to be similar sized clubs until Bolton and Blackburn poured millions into their teams - which resulted in bigger fan bases for them - but it also made it impossible for teams like Barnsley to compete against them. So as they bathed in success, Barnsley struggled. Consequently I cannot wish them luck now.
You’re bang on, it’s disgusting. It’s just financial doping, it’s no different to a 100m runner injecting steroids to me. It’s blatant cheating, it’s millions, it’s not like a league 2 club slightly projecting attendances wrong
To be fair in days gone by Preston, Blackburn & Bolton have all been big teams. Football has changed & teams like Bournemouth now are "bigger" than them, even though they don't have the history or fan base. Burnley are a lot like us in many ways & are the model to aspire to in my book.
Well I never - club have avoided administration and will not face any points deduction! Who knew?!?!?!?!?
