Just got a ticket as I work in Middlesbrough and will be my first away game for years. Anyone going? Be nice to meet some people from here.
Hey up, Not going myself this time, but a couple of season ago I travelled there with the East Dene Reds on a wet, cold and windy Wednesday night. We got there quite early and the ground wasn’t even open. I walked out of the away coach park turned left for a few hundred yards and across the road was a pub, can’t remember the exact name but it was something to do with nearby rail crossing. A few Reds fans in there and it was ok.
I went that night, dreadful weather, brown hit the bar and we lost. Half a thought to go this year, lad was at university there, depends if he wants to catch up with his mates
Went last time we were allowed to. Another evening game and an absolute incessant deluge. Lost 1-0 and I reckon their goal was a Cavaré gift. This time I’m expecting to be part heard in a manslaughter trial so may struggle. Should the trial crack I will be there and having a pint down Baker St/Bedford St in town where there are some great micro pubs.
Nothing less than a win will do. A loss and he has got to go. what manager/coach can survive 5 on the trot in a results based industry?
Absolutely no way I can get to Middlesborough from Farnham for a Wednesday evening match so will have to miss this defeat.
Think id rather poke dog **** in my eyes with a sharp stick than drive all the way there to watch a schopp team.
Warnock had to play "the kids" yesterday there injuries are that bad.. Probably not going to be a classic..
