When it comes to appearances in a season on Sky we are at the bottom with Millwall. 2 each Top , is you've guessed it Leeds 17 then Wolves.
Unfortunately we just don’t have the draw that others do. It’s not a fair roll out, it’s clearly based on a perception, right or wrongly, of subsriber interest. Leeds have a massive armchair following whether we like it or not and it’s just a fact of life and of Sky at present.
Is it really that much to do with subscriber interest? I thought it was as much to do with having a full ground live on TV - Leeds fans will sell out most games regardless away from home, while home teams tend to have a few more attending (not sure why) when Leeds come to town.
Outside of the Premier League, Leeds get Sky their best viewing figures worldwide and this is why they're on so often.
Double edged sword. Yes Leeds get loads of TV coverage, but it means lots of us have the pleasure of watching them get beat. Well supported but a laughing stock most of the time.
I'd rather Sky not be there. I go to a lot of away games apart from Aways At Cardiff and London but how come we never get an away game on Sky?I When was the last one?
