    I thought we looked very weak in midfield but give the lad a chance he is making a big step up. He looks a bit unconvincing but deserves everyone's support.

    Potts at least was giving 100% and that was obvious... he came to the squad late on and is still finding his feet... give the bloke a chance. He will IMHO contribute his share this season, as I am sure they all will. We are a young and very new side , lots to learn at a very high level of football... the games I have been able to see so far are very encouraging . No way will I suggest we may be the surprise package, but yes way I will say we have enough in the tank to be expecting championship soccer again next season. We have not finished with the transfers yet this window and lets hope we do not self rape ourselves in January. Its going to be the normal Barnsley roller coaster again, the one I have ridden since 1961.... and TBH I would not want it any different....

    Harsh. Honestly think he's got attributes and will only get better the more he gets used to the pace of the championship.Remember hourianne took a while to get going really think the lad can gives us summat different.

    Looked strong to me. I've seen FAR worse performances for us in midfield than that and considering he's playing centrally and only just come into the squad I think he did perfectly fine.

    Give me Brad Potts over David fox, Ben Pearson or Hugo ******* colace any day of the week.
